US calls for sanctions on North Korea

Washington: The United States has called on the United Nations to impose tougher sanctions on North Korea following its missile tests.

North Korea last Thursday tested a more powerful intercontinental ballistic missile.

It is said to be powerful enough to go as far as the United States.

The United States has called on UN member states to impose sanctions, saying North Korea’s actions are dangerous and outrageous.
