New York: The U.S. is the world’s largest emitter of plastic waste, according to a new study. According to international news agencies, the U.S. emits an average of 130 kilograms of plastic waste per year.
South Korea is next. Each Korean emits 88 kilograms of plastic waste each year. The report also points out that the increase in plastic waste has created environmental and social crises.
