Donald Trump is in Florida, in the Palm Beach area, where he owns two properties. It is not clear which one he was in during the shooting, CNN reports. The memo from his campaign staff does not provide further details at this time. In a post on X, the old Twitter, the son of former president Donald Trump Jr. reported the discovery of an AK-47 and the arrest of a suspect.
New York Post: Trump Was Not Target
The shootings that took place this afternoon “in the vicinity” of former US President Donald Trump would have occurred outside the golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida where the former US president is located and he would not have been the target, the New York Post reports. According to the reconstruction, two people exchanged gunfire while the tycoon was leaving the facility but the shots were not directed at him.
Swift Attack Today
The tycoon had already made headlines on Sunday, attacking pop star Taylor Swift and declaring his “hatred” towards her after thedeclared support to Democratic opponent Kamala Harris. In an all-caps post on his Truth Social media account, Trump wrote, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” in retaliation for Swift’s rallying for Harris.
Immediately after the debate between the two candidates last week, Swift informed her 284 million Instagram followers that she was voting for Harris, currently vice president of the United States, “because she stands up for rights and causes that I think need a warrior to stand up for them.” Trump, who has 7.71 million followers on Truth Social, initially dismissed Swift’s endorsement of Harris, saying he was “not a Taylor fan.”
