Seoul,

North Korea has been conducting a series of missile tests and creating tension on the Korean Peninsula.

So to counter the threat from North Korea, South Korea conducted joint military exercises with the United States.

North Korea issued a public warning to the US to stop the drills. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un criticized it as a rehearsal for invasion.

Condemnation of Japan

Similarly, North Korea has been conducting frequent missile tests targeting Japan. This was strongly condemned by Japan.

But the North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, who does not care about anything, has ordered the country’s scientists to “find new nuclear weapons”.

Apart from that, he is increasing the missile tests and building up the war there.

Tripartite joint war exercise

In this situation, the navies of South Korea, Japan and the United States started joint war exercises in the South Korean waters yesterday.

There are various warships including the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier. The two-day exercise will focus on anti-submarine training, information exchange, search and rescue operations, the South Korean Defense Ministry said in a statement.

After 7 years…

The statement also said that these exercises are being carried out to counter the threats posed by North Korea from underwater.

This trilateral military exercise was last held in 2016. It is noteworthy that after a gap of 7 years, this tripartite joint war exercise is now taking place.

The joint military exercise has further angered North Korea despite its repeated warnings against military operations on the Korean Peninsula.
