As reported by Day.Az with reference to TASS, this was reported by the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, Major General Yuri Popov.

“Over the past 24 hours, the coalition has recorded eight violations of the deconfliction protocols of December 9, 2019, related to unmanned aerial vehicle flights not coordinated with the Russian side. In the At-Tanf area, ten violations were recorded over the past 24 hours by three pairs of F-15 fighters, a pair of Rafale fighters, and a pair of A-10 Thunderbolt attack aircraft of the coalition,” the statement said.

It is noted that units of the Russian military police also conducted patrols in the provinces of Raqqa and Hasakah. Popov noted that over the past 24 hours, five attacks on positions of Syrian government troops by terrorist groups were recorded in the Idlib de-escalation zone.

“As a result of mortar shelling by terrorists from the Tedil region on positions of Syrian government forces in the area of ​​the settlement of Ajel in the province of Aleppo, two Syrian servicemen were wounded. As a result of mortar shelling by terrorists from the Sarja region on positions of Syrian government forces in the area of ​​the settlement of Ruaiha in the province of Idlib, two Syrian servicemen were wounded,” he noted.
