“This will last a while. They have everything planned out,” reacted the 81-year-old Democrat, who stopped speaking several times while his supporters in the audience chanted “Four more years!” » or “Come on Joe!” » in order to drown out the voices of the demonstrators.
In the first mins of Pres. Biden’s remarks, EIGHT separate pro-Palestine protestors have disrupted his speech. Crowd has broken into chants of “four more years” each time.

The US president was interrupted at least 14 times as his entourage and members of the police worked to evacuate the activists, says Politico.
This is not the first time the president has faced interruptions during a speech. In early January, activists also interrupted a speech given by the president in Charleston, South Carolina.
A campaign based on the right to abortion
Initially, Joe Biden’s speech was intended to defend access to abortion, which is increasingly restricted in the United States. The opportunity to castigate his possible opponent and predecessor, Donald Trump, at the head of the Republican primary race.
“Donald Trump is the reason why (American women) were deprived of a fundamental right,” said the American president, during a joint campaign meeting with his running mate, Vice-President Kamala Harris.
On January 22, America marks the 51st anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, who in 1973 established a constitutional right to voluntary termination of pregnancy, covering the entire territory.
This right was shattered a year and a half ago. The Supreme Court, which became very conservative following the appointments made by Donald Trump, ruled that the right to abortion was not guaranteed by the Constitution, and that the American states were therefore competent in the matter. Since then, around twenty of them, mostly in the southern United States, have banned or very severely limited voluntary terminations of pregnancies.
