The United States’ response to the drone attack against its base in Jordan, which resulted in the death of three American soldiers on Tuesday, is expected to be more powerful than previous attacks carried out in the Middle East – according to sources who spoke to CNN today (Tuesday). In recent months, the United States has carried out several attacks against weapons warehouses of pro-Iranian terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria. So far, none of these attacks have deterred the groups, whose numerous attacks since October have injured more than 120 US military personnel. In recent days, Republican members of Congress have called on President Biden to respond to the death of the three American soldiers in the attack on Iran itself, and not to be content with harming the terrorist groups operating on its behalf.
