The scientists who discovered this have sent a certain air under pressure through a syringe instead of blood to the dead spider’s body.
It has been shown that when such air is sent, they extend their legs and prepare to grasp an object. Using the dead spider, many small objects have been caught and lifted. At the same time, dead spiders can lift up to 130 percent of their own weight, according to research.
