US Stock Market Update: Dow Jones Gains 0.36% at Close of Trading

U.S. stock indices close higher at the end of trading with the Dow Jones, S&P 500, and Nasdaq all seeing gains. Among the leading stocks in the index today, Boeing, Goldman Sachs, and Chevron saw significant increases while Honeywell International, Walmart, and Verizon Communications were among the worst performers.
The best performers today in the S&P 500 were Fremont Global B, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Lululemon Athletics. Among the weakest stocks were Enphase Energy, Dollar General, and Illumina.
The number of shares that closed higher exceeded the number of shares that closed lower in trading on the New York Stock Exchange with 1644 compared to 1238 respectively, with 83 remaining unchanged. In trading on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 1960 advanced and 1503 declined, while 118 were flat.
Shares of Lululemon Athletics, Boeing, and Intensity Therapeutics Inc. climbed to all-time highs while shares of Golden Heaven Group Holdings Ltd fell to an all-time low.
Gold futures contract for February delivery and crude oil futures for delivery in January saw both increases and declines in trading while the EUR/USD pair remained stable. The futures contracts on the US dollar index saw an increase as well.
