US Stock Market Update: Dow Jones Index Gains 0.61% as Oracle Hits All-Time High

Among the weakest stocks today were Southwest Airlines (NYSE: ), which fell 14.89% to close at 28.75, Anphase Energy (NASDAQ: ), which lost 5.98% to 121.00, and American Airlines Group ( NASDAQ:), which weakened by 4.71% and closed the trading day at 13.96.

The best performers today in the NASDAQ index were Clear-One Communications (NASDAQ:), which added 127.50% to its value at 2.06, Regulus Therapeutics (NASDAQ:), which completed an increase of 71.01% and closed at 2.36, and Bright Green Corp. (NASDAQ: ), which rose 45.72% to end trading at a price of 0.30.

Among the weakest stocks today were Simpple Ltd (NASDAQ:), which fell by 78.13% and stood at 1.24 at the end of the trading day, BYND Knasoft Enterprises (NASDAQ:), which lost 70.50% to 0.03 and Aslan Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:) , which weakened by 57.98% and closed the trading day on the stock exchange at a price of 0.69.

The number of shares that closed higher exceeded the number of shares that closed lower in trading on the New York Stock Exchange with 1571 versus 1311 respectively, with 70 remaining unchanged; In trading on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 1935 declined and 1457 gained, while 123 held their value.

BYND Kennasoft Enterprises (NASDAQ: ) fell to an all-time low, shedding 70.50% or 0.07 points to trade at 0.03.

Index, which measures the implied standard deviation of options on the S&P 500 index, traded down 9.07% and closed at a price of 13.84.

The gold futures contract for April delivery lost 1.19% or 26.00 and closed at $2,162.60 per ounce. And more in commodity trading – crude oil futures for delivery in April completed a decrease of 0.03% or 0.02 and reached a price of $77.91 per barrel, while the May contract for Brent oil futures registered an increase of 0.01% or 0.01 points, closing at a price of $82.22 per barrel.

The EUR/USD pair remained stable – 0.00% and traded at a price of 1.09, while the USD/JPY pair completed a 0.50% increase and reached the level of 147.68.

Futures contracts on the US dollar index traded up 0.06% and settled at 102.53.
