Usa, death penalty for abortion: the bill in Texas
Texas Republican Congressman Bryan Slaton presented a proposal for shock law which would allow women who decide to have an abortion to be sentenced to death. In a post on Twitter, the MP from the Grand Old Party said: “I presented HB 3326 to abolish abortion in Texas. The law would eliminate discriminatory practices that end the lives of innocent children and guarantee fair protection from reads to all Texans, no matter how young. ” The law equates abortion with murder that in the state of the lonely star can be punished with the death penalty. It is not the first time that a Texas lawmaker has proposed a law to sentence abortioners to death. It had already happened in 2019, when Republican Congressman Tony Tinderholt, Republican, presented a similar measure.
