Three Georgia police officers were shot and wounded as they chased a car at high speed, which resulted in one man being killed and his brother taken into custody. The authorities reported this. The patrol had initially stopped the car, which had then suddenly left to escape. Officers chased and rammed the vehicle to stop it, but from inside a passenger fired a rifle, hitting the police car. Other police officers in cars joined the chase. A runaway car occupant fired again, injuring a policeman who lost control of the car. The two occupants of the vehicle then fled on foot, after crashing near an elementary school. After a shooting, one was shot and killed, 28-year-old Pier Alexander Shelton, the other taken into custody: 22-year-old Aaron Jajuan Shelton was identified.
