Sprinter Usain Bolt has trademarked his victory pose in America. The legendary sprinter, considered one of the greatest athletes of all time, is said to be looking to launch a new clothing and accessories brand under the iconic winning logo.

The retired Jamaican sprinter celebrated his victory by making a skyward gesture known as the two-handed lightning slat. He is the fastest man in history and continues to hold world records for the 100m and 200m sprints. In 2009, he set a record by running 100 meters in just 9.58 seconds. Bolt is an eight-time Olympic gold medalist and holds the record for winning the 100m and 200m titles at three consecutive Olympics.

On August 17, Bolt applied to trademark his winning symbol at the US Patent and Trademark Office. A trademark for the logo has been filed for its use on items including shoes, sunglasses, jewelry and purses.
