The United States announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup at home on Friday. Corey Anderson of New Zealand is a surprise in their team. The hosts have included this cricketer who played in the final of the 2015 World Cup.

The US team will be led by 31-year-old wicket-keeper batsman Monak Patel. Pacer Ali Khan got a place in the team after returning from a hamstring injury. Apart from this, there are Sourav Nethralvakar, who played the most matches for the USA, Aaron Jones and the opening batsman Steven Taylor who collected the most runs for the country. Off-spinner Milind Kumar, who made his debut in the series against Canada, also got a place in the World Cup squad.
