USC asks to restore the work of the exclusive supplier of cables for the Navy

United Shipbuilding Company JSC (USC) wrote letters to the owner of the bankrupt PC Sevkabel LLC – the non-core assets bank Trust – and the bankruptcy manager Kirill Pestryakov demanding to resume the production of cables used in the construction and repair of submarines of the Russian Navy. The letter from USC says that Sevkabel is the only Russian manufacturer of cable brands RKMGE (TU 16-505.270-83) and RKPGV (TU 16-505.962-82, TU 16-505.960-82) used in the construction and repair of submarines Russian Navy, including those intended for nuclear deterrence. Components for Russian submarines are not purchased abroad, as these are strategic products.
