Despite the efforts of smartphone manufacturers to implement AI features in their devices, user interest in these features remains low. This is stated in the SellCell study, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.

The study results showed that only 47.6% of iPhone users consider AI an important criterion when choosing a smartphone. Moreover, 73% of users who have tried neural network features do not find them useful compared to other features of their devices.

The most popular among users are simple text processing tools (Writing Tools), which are used by 72% of respondents. In second place is the Notification summaries function for creating notification summaries (54%), and in third place is the automatic sorting of important messages in email (44.5%). The top 5 also included Clean Up for removing objects from photos (29.1%) and the Smart Reply in Mail function (20.9%).

Experts also found that only 16.8% of iPhone owners are willing to switch to Samsung smartphones if the Korean brand offers improved AI features. Among Samsung users there are even fewer people willing to switch to Apple’s side – only 9.7%.
