Two weeks have passed since Apple released the iOS 16 update for its various devices and besides the many innovations such as personalizing the home screen, new features in Messages and more, there are also various bugs that have not yet been resolved.
Apple has already given a swift response to some of them, such as iOS 16.0.1 and iOS 16.0.2 that were released last week, the latter of which also addresses the blurring problem in the camera of the new iPhone 14 models. However, some of the problems have not yet been resolved, including complaints about significant battery drain after the update: “My battery drain is much more than I usually had. I work in the office and don’t use the device that much and nothing has changed in my behavior. In iOS 15 I returned home Mainly when there is between 85% – 90% left. With iOS 16 it’s between 65% – 75%. I think that’s quite a lot when I hardly used my phone,” wrote a user on Reddit.
Apart from this, there are complaints about a certain slowness to the point of not being able to use the Spotlight search, also problems with the activation of CarPlay which mainly concerns the new models but it is possible that this affects the previous models as well, and some users report a flickering screen at low brightness.
Meanwhile, there is no information about the launch of version 16.0.3 and it is not clear whether Apple will address things with the launch of iOS 16.1 planned for next month.
