The fifth phase of voting today (February 27, 2022) will determine the political future of 692 candidates in the constituency for 61 assembly constituencies in 12 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Voting begins at 7 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m.
In Amethi, Rae Bareli, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Chitrakoot, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Barabanki, Bahraich, Sravasti and Konda districts, about 2.24 crore voters are casting their ballots at this stage.
According to the latest update, the first two hours saw an average turnout of 8.02%, with the highest turnout in Kaushambi district.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is contesting from the ministers Allahabad West. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya is contesting from Shirdi Assembly constituency in Kaushambi district.
