Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is expected to get about Rs 3.70 lakh crore from the Union Budget. This includes share in central taxes, share in centrally sponsored schemes, amount received under Finance Commission and Special Assistance for States Scheme. UP will get the maximum amount from central taxes. According to Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, UP’s share in central taxes in the interim budget was Rs 2,18,816.84 crore, which has increased to Rs 2,23,737.23 crore in this budget. This amount is about Rs 4920.39 crore more than the interim budget. Apart from this, Rs 94 thousand crore will be received under central schemes and Rs 15 thousand crore is expected to be received under the Vikas Bharat Yojana. States are given interest free loan for 50 years by the Center. UP had received about Rs 17,938 crore in the last financial year, which will be Rs 20,500 crore in the current financial year.
The budget will fulfil the resolutions of Amritkaal. There is a provision of Rs 1.52 lakh crore for the prosperity of farmers, agriculture and allied sectors and more than Rs 3 lakh crore for women empowerment. Uttar Pradesh will benefit the most from this.

24 lakh entrepreneurs benefited
UP will get the maximum benefit of increasing the limit of Mudra Yojana from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. Currently, Mudra loans worth Rs 76.80 lakh have been given in UP. Doubling the loan limit will create 24 lakh new entrepreneurs in the state, who want to expand their business or the cost of their enterprise is more than Rs 10 lakh.
