Assist UVG Horizons AI
With the purpose of inviting Guatemalans to explore new frontiers with Artificial Intelligence, the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala will celebrate the AI Horizons UVG, with workshops moderated by experts, forum with professors of marketing and AI, and spaces of networking.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2024 between 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Center for Innovation and Technology -CIT- of the UVG central campus, located at 18 avenue 11-79 Zone 15 , Vista Hermosa III in Guatemala City. The cost to participate is US$200, but you can register at this link to receive a free pass.
It will be the ideal opportunity for you to learn first-hand about the experience that UVG students live every day. In Industrial Engineering, AI tools are implemented in regular activities within the classrooms, such as the model Digital Twins in the CIT Process Design Laboratory, creating virtual replicas of objects or processes to make simulations.
In the Data Science Engineering degree, AI is used to automate repetitive tasks, such as verification, simplification, and efficiency of programming projects. By using these platforms, students can get personalized feedback to improve their techniques and acquire new skills.
