Tovino and Keerthi appear as two lawyers who have to defend both the plaintiff and the defendant in the same case. The film is produced under the banner of father Suresh Kumar and stars daughter Keerthi in the lead role. Lightning roared like lightning; The first Malayalam superhero film to win awards
Minnal Murali at the Kerala State Films Awards 2021. When director Basil Joseph presented his first superhero, Minnal Murali, to Malayalam cinema, the audience welcomed him with open arms. Now the lightning roars on the awards stage as well.
Minnal Murali has won four awards, including Best Visual Effects. Pradeep Kumar, who sang the opening song of the film ‘Ravil Mayangumi Poomadiyil’, was selected as the best singer. In addition, Minnal Murali won the awards for Best Sound Mixing and Best Costume Design.

The film is voiced by Justin Jose. The jury noted that the film manages to entertain as well as inform, with its regular soundtrack and background vocals in supernatural action scenes.
Melvy J also won the Best Costume Award for Lightning Murali. The jury found that the characters’ performances were unique in that they embodied the context of the story and the uniqueness of the fantasy film.
