After the success of ‘Thrisitrambalam’ and ‘Nane Varavane’, Dhanush is currently acting in ‘Vaathi’. Produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film is directed by Venky Atluri. Samyukta has acted opposite Dhanush in this film. Samuthirakani also plays the lead role.
In this case, the production company of Vaathi had announced the trailer date of February 8 along with Dhanush’s photo from the film. Similarly, Vaathi movie trailer was released yesterday evening at 6.30 pm.

The trailer questions the politics of education. Verses like ‘Money earned in education will not be earned in politics’ are misleading.
The audio launch of Vaathi movie was held in Chennai on 4th. Music composer GV Prakash is composing the music for the film. The film’s first single song ‘Va Vathi’ sung by Shweta Mohan was released last November and was well received. Following its success, the second single song ‘Nadodi Mannan’ was released as a Pongal special song and got a good response and increased the expectations of the film Vathi. The other three songs from the film namely Kalanguthe, One Life, Surya Pariweyele were released at the audio release ceremony of the movie Vathi held in Chennai on the 4th.
The film is titled ‘Sir’ in Telugu and will release on February 17.
