The Infectious Disease Control Team (IZB) is responsible for the prevention, control and detection of infectious diseases. This is done by tracing sources and contacts and providing information and (policy) advice to residents and municipalities in IJsselland about the risks of infectious diseases. In addition, our team often collaborates with hospitals, laboratories, general practitioners and the RIVM, among others.

What are you going to do?
Als arts M&G ;
- You are ultimately responsible for handling reports of infectious diseases;
- you coordinate the fight against outbreaks;
- do your surveillance;
- you supervise the basic doctors, AIOS and nurses in terms of content;
- you contribute to the training of AIOS, students and interns;
- do you have a back-up role for the passenger and STD outpatient clinic;
- you contribute to projects and conduct epidemiological and scientific research;
- advise and make (policy) proposals and contribute to prevention programmes;
- you maintain the chain partner network.
What are you bringing?
We are looking for a doctor M&G who:
- Has a registration as a doctor for society + health in the infectious disease control profile or a KNMG registration as a profile doctor for infectious disease control;
- has a valid BIG registration;
- has experience with and/or interest in scientific research and/or carrying out projects;
- is in possession of a driving license B and has a car;
- has a flexible attitude and the willingness to contribute to the 24-hour availability services for infectious disease control in the East region (5 GGDs). These on-call services are distributed by 5 GGDs.

- An exciting and varied job in a challenging organization. It concerns a function of 24-36 hours (permanent formation). The employment contract is for the time being for one year, after which extension or permanent employment is possible;

- a gross monthly salary of at least €4,965 to a maximum of €6,616 based on full-time employment. Depending on education and experience, your salary is determined in job scale 13 of the CAO SGO. You are also periodically deployed in a regional context (24-hour on-call service) for which you receive compensation;
- attention to a good work/life balance through programs in the field of vitality and health, paid parental leave, budget for spending on leave and allowances based on an individual choice budget of 17.05% on top of your regular salary;
- depending on your work, you work partly at home and partly at the office.
