Vaccination obligation fails in Germany

by time news

Yesterday, the German Parliament rejected by 378 votes against 296 a bill which would have made compulsory the vaccination of all Germans over the age of 60, the “ pre-vaccination consultation » of other adults and the creation of a national vaccination register of all vaccinated. This proposal was supported by the Social Democracy (SPD), the Greens and the Liberals (FDP).

The German government was so keen on the vaccination obligation that it brought Annalena Baerbock, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, back from the NATO summit on Ukraine to vote. The subject has however become controversial, to the point that Chancellor Scholz preferred to have the law carried by parliamentarians rather than by the government, and did not himself decide.

On the same day, parliamentarians rejected another bill which provided for a possible vaccination obligation for the fall of 2022, as well as the creation of the said vaccination register. This project was rejected by 492 votes against 172. Within the Parliament, cries and names of birds were exchanged while several thousand demonstrators hostile to compulsory vaccination massed in front of the building. If the Minister of Health has sworn to ” continue the fight for the compulsory vaccine, the atmosphere is not festive at the chancellery.

A few months earlier in Germany, police raids were carried out against judges (Christian Dettmar), university professors (Christof Kuhbandner), scientists (Dr Stefan Hockertz, refugee in Switzerland) critical of health policy.

Similar to the situation in other western countries, the so-called press mainstream pales in comparison. On the other side, the German-speaking sites of “reinformation” (KLA.tv, Coronatransition, Wochenblick, Multipolar, Apolut, Rubikon, Reitschuster, etc.) now attract tens of millions of views per month. Increasingly, they are highlighting the side effects of vaccines.
