A target has been set to vaccinate more than 8,000 students through this program. Medical officers Parthiban and Vijayalakshmi, doctors Ilango and Vinodini, health inspector Murugan and school principals observed the injections in the camps.
Education officials said students who received a letter of approval from their parents would be vaccinated in the first installment. Before being vaccinated, everyone should be tested. Every day, a certain number of students are vaccinated.Thus, they said.
Camp at the College
A corona vaccination camp for students was held at Anthiyur Kamalam College of Arts and Sciences. In the presence of College Secretary Sanjeev, Chief Minister Brinda presided. Dr. Sivashangiri and Health Inspector Murugan were present. More than 200 students have been vaccinated at the college.
In the Southern Union, students in Zameenuthukuli, Singanallur, Kanchampatti, S. Malayandipattanam and Komangalambudur schools were vaccinated against corona. The camp was visited by Regional Medical Officer Rajkumar, Dr. Ranjithkumar, District Education Officer Rajasekaran and officials. A total of 5,366 students are targeted to be vaccinated in the Southern Union. Of these, 260 were vaccinated yesterday. In the Northern Union, 354 students were vaccinated at Negamam and Kollapatti schools. Vaccination camp begins today in schools under Pollachi Municipality. In total, 839 people were targeted and 544 students were vaccinated. In Negombo schools, 176 students were vaccinated yesterday.
Anaimalai
In Anaimalai taluka, a target has been set to vaccinate 3,300 students. Of these, 398 students were vaccinated yesterday at VRD, Girls ‘High School, Anaimalai Boys’ High School and Annai Matriculation Schools. At the camp at Valparai Government Men’s High School, students were eagerly vaccinated.
In Valparai, a total of 10 schools, 1,402 students have been targeted to be vaccinated. Yesterday, 304 people were vaccinated. Students will be vaccinated until the 8th .– Reporter Team –
