Starting today, Monday 10 May, in Lombardy it is possible to book vaccination against Covid also for citizens aged between 50 and 59 years. The booking procedures remain unchanged compared to the other categories included in the mass vaccination who have already booked their dose: they will always be used the four channels provided by the Italian Post Office platform.
How to book the vaccine with Poste Italiane
Through the Poste Italiane platform, Lombard citizens have multiple ways to book an appointment to receive the vaccine. From the Region’s website to the toll-free number, from the Atm Postamat counters to the PDA of the postmen who deliver the registered mail every morning. For each of the modalities, it will be necessary to have a tax code and health card.
Booking through the site
With the booking through the site (at this link), it will be necessary to have the tax code and health card of the citizen who intends to make the reservation. The web portal will illustrate step by step the procedure to follow to complete the operation. The user can choose the time, date and place for the administration of his dose.
Reservation through the call center
When booking through the call center, just make a call to the free number 800 894 545 and indicate your details to the operator. The number is active from Monday to Friday from 9 to 18.
Reservation through Atm Postamat counters
By booking through the Atm Postamat counters, citizens can insert their health card and follow the instructions that will appear on the display.
Booking through postmen’s handhelds
By booking through the postmen’s PDAs, I will need to communicate the data of your health card, in addition to the tax code, to the Poste Italiane operator. The procedure will be carried out directly by the postman who will choose the date, time and place of the administration to the person concerned.
The 50-59 age group in Lombardy includes over 1.5 million people
There are over 1.5 million Lombard citizens who are in the 50-59 age range and will therefore be able to book their own anti Covid vaccine. This is the penultimate step of the mass vaccination campaign in Lombardy before the opening of the reservations, and of the administrations, for people aged 49 and under: about 4 million people for which reservations, according to the plans, were to open between May 14 and June 13.
