Vaccine for children: New contract with Pfizer

by time news

Health Minister Ong Yi Kang has said that Singapore has signed a new distribution agreement with Pfizer on the Kovit-19 vaccine for children between the ages of five and 11.

He added that the agreement included the distribution of the vaccine and that he would work with Pfizer to implement it as soon as possible.

He said that the Ministry of Health was in touch with Vida.

Kenneth Mack, Singapore’s director of medical services, said last week that the vaccine for children needed a different formulation.

Even if the MRNA ingredient used in the adult vaccine is used, it will require a different combination.

It will require more refrigeration facilities to store it. By doing so you can easily take the medicine needed for the vaccine bottle.

Mr Ong said parents had been more interested in the vaccine for children since it was announced last week.

It was then announced that the expert panel for the Kovit-19 vaccine would make a recommendation in the second week of November on whether a contract could be signed with Pfizer for the vaccine. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently approved the baby vaccine.
