Vaccine travel program: 4,000 people allowed to travel from Malaysia to Singapore

More than 4,000 people have been cleared to travel from Malaysia to Singapore under the airborne vaccination route between Singapore and Malaysia.

They were given the permit within 14 hours of applications for travel permits beginning Monday (November 22).

Responding to media queries today, the Singapore Civil Aviation Authority said that as of 11.59 pm on Monday, 4,124 passengers had been cleared to arrive in Singapore from Malaysia.

Of them, 1,792 are short-term visitors and 2,332 are long-term permit holders.

Meanwhile, 1,126 people have been issued travel permits from India to Singapore.

2,681 people have been allowed to come to Singapore from Indonesia. 2,068 of them are short-term visitors.
