When Nicol found out she was pregnant, she got a real shock – it turned out that she wasn’t expecting just one baby, but two. And also one-egg! In December, together with Václav, they revealed that they would be girls. Nicol’s due date was at the beginning of April, the little girls were finally born on March 24 by caesarean section and were given the magical names – Lia and Sofia.
“When they were born, they weighed 1200 and 1400 grams. They spent a month in the incubator, we brought them home at the beginning of May.” the happy father described Bleska. I went to see them every day, I brought them milk. We were just waiting for them to gain weight so they could go home, otherwise there were no complications” added Nicol.
Their first baby, Vašík, died in just six days, and the couple then had a daughter, Mia, who is now 2.5 years old. She was really looking forward to her little sisters. “He wants to be there for everything, he tries to help, but he doesn’t quite understand it yet,” described Václav.
According to her mother, she doesn’t sleep much now, the babies are fed every three hours even at night. “I sleep upstairs in the bedroom and Nicol sleeps downstairs with all the children,” added Václav. Despite the fact that they are now having a difficult period with the care of babies, they do not rule out that they will get another addition. “We are not planning yet, but if we have another child, it will probably be in five years at the earliest,” the couple agreed.
