“It really exists! In a video of a few minutes published Wednesday on TikTok, a Canadian tourist passing through Paris claims to be the victim of racism for the first time. Prepared, they are nevertheless refused entry to Manko, a fashionable restaurant located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, on the grounds that they do not wear “evening clothes”. During the sequence, filmed on July 16 and which quickly went viral on social networks, we see the security guard turning away other people of color for the same reasons.
