Iļjinska started her work as an adviser to the Minister of Economy on September 9 this year.
On the “X” platform, Iļjinska states that Saturday is her last working day at the Ministry of Economy, because the minister fired her for the post “X”, in which Iļjinska pointed out shortcomings in the communication guidelines of the state administration.
Iļjinska’s post also mentions the minister’s comment that Prime Minister Evika Siliņa (JV) Iļjinskas perceived the aforementioned post as an attack on her and her team. “All of them have stopped [Valaiņa] issues in the coalition and mistrust is also increasing. I believe in this argument, because if the coalition is based not on works, but on restrictions on freedom of expression, then of course every tweet can shake it,” says Iļjinska.
In the social network “LinkedIn”, Iļjinska stated about herself that she has been working in the communication industry since 2006, when she was a public relations specialist at the “Admirals Club”. Later, Iļjinska worked as a journalist in the news agency BNS, in the newspaper “s Bizness” and in the magazine “Forbes Latvija”. After that, she became the deputy editor-in-chief of the Latvian edition of “Forbes” and also the head of the Baltic editorial office, but from 2014 to 2019 she worked with the “Saskaņa” party, taking care of its public communication.
The archive of the LETA agency shows that in 2019 Iļjinska returned to “Forbes”, which renewed the publication of the magazine in Latvia that year, in cooperation with Iļjinska’s SIA “Business Magazine”. Ilyinska’s company published the magazine for five years, until, according to her, the term of the acquired franchise license expired.
This year, at the beginning of April, the company from Iļjinska had a debt of 69,700 euros for taxes administered by the State Revenue Service, at the beginning of June, the debt had decreased to 60,000 euros, but on December 9 this year, the debt had again reached almost 69,000 euros, according to “Firmas.lv” data.
