Valentina Vezzali new undersecretary for Sport

Born in Jesi on February 14, 1974, she was one of the greatest fencers in history, the most successful ever in foil as well as the most medalized woman in fencing. In his 26-year career he has won nine Olympic medals, of which six gold (3 in individual foil, a record shared with 5 other sports in the world), one silver and two bronze, as well as 16 world titles, 13 European, five Universiade, two Mediterranean Games, 11 times the World Cup (78 races won) and 30 national titles.
