In order to realize the vision of the Head of State, Lieutenant General Mamadi DOUMBOUYA for a Guinea where every citizen of working age can access productive and decent employment, the Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training and Employment, under the high patronage of the Prime Minister and Head of Government, Mr. Amadou Oury BAH, is organizing the validation workshop of the First National Employment Policy (PNE) 2024-2030, on July 9 and 10 at the Kaloum Hotel.
Chaired by Mrs. Aminata KABA, this workshop will bring together members of the government, civil society, social, technical and financial partners, international and employer organizations as well as experts.
The National Employment Policy (PNE) 2024-2030 is a reference document resulting from participatory and inclusive work by all public and private stakeholders and partners
social. It is centered on three objectives, namely:
• Maximizing the creation of productive and decent jobs;
• Improving the quality of jobs;
• Reducing inequalities in employment.
In its mission of developing, implementing and monitoring policy
government in matters of employment, the Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training and Employment (METFPE) has set up an institutional coordination mechanism, including:
1- An Interministerial Committee for Employment and Training chaired by the Prime Minister, Head of Government;
2- A Technical Employment Committee (CTE) headed by the Minister responsible for Employment.
The PNE 2024-2030 carries a vision: that of a Guinea where every citizen of working age can access productive and decent employment, which allows them to contribute to the development of an inclusive and sustainable economy. Its mission is to promote opportunities for quality productive employment, and equality in access to decent jobs, particularly for young people and women.
This policy is structured around five strategic orientations (SO) which are:
OS1. Promote decent and productive employment in macroeconomic policies,
sectoral, regional and local development strategies
OS 2. Strengthening skills adequacy and employability
OS 3. Promote business development and the formalization of MSMEs
OS 4. Accelerate active measures for the integration into employment of vulnerable groups, in particular young people and women
OS 5. Strengthen labour market governance, social dialogue and the labour market information system.
The commitment and contribution of all stakeholders is necessary for the success of this ambitious policy, in accordance with the directives of the Head of State, for a strong and resilient Guinea.
