Valve ends the Steam Deck queue and opens direct orders on the Docking Station

by time news

Valve finally has enough inventory to end the Steam Deck queue. This means that you can order your item and expect it to arrive in a week or two.

Over the past week, SteamDB . revealed that company Valve has canceled its parking system. As you can see, all three models have a Buy Now button below them.

However, you may want to act quickly. Valve recently reactivated the $5 reservation system for the 64GB and 512GB versions of Steam Deck, due to some users purchasing a large number of parts. If you are interested in purchasing, you can place your order via Steam Store.

Add a Steam Deck account official on twitter: “We’re doing our best to keep Steam Decks in stock, but there’s a constant possibility that orders will exceed our expectations. Should that happen, some models in some regions may be temporarily out of stock and back into the reservations system until stock is full again.”

On the same day, Valve also opened orders for its $89.99 Steam Deck console. This part contains USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 sockets, Gigabit Ethernet socket, DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connectivity.

Steam Deck dock

“Whether you want to connect your Steam Deck to your living room TV screen, your desk at work, or to charge it on your counter, the Dock is perfect for expanding the ways and places you can use your Steam Deck,” the company spoke.

The stand also includes a “rubber base” to keep the Steam Deck in place without causing scratches. It can also work without the included power socket, but “USB sockets deliver less power for economy purposes.” Product will start shipping in two weeks.

Valve adds: “We’ve done extensive testing and confirmed the component’s compatibility with a large number of monitors and accessories.” However, the stand does not increase the performance of Steam Deck.

The company previously delayed both the Steam Deck and its kickstand due to a lack of manufactured materials to close factories due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But in the past few months, the company has been able to ramp up production of the Steam Deck to cover all pre-orders this year.
