Two new Extraordinary Dials collections
Van Cleef & Arpels is a company that continues its legacy by dedicating itself for many years to continuing the knowledge of artistic techniques (métiers d’art), and in ‘2024 Watches and Wonders’ New works were presented.
In the Maison’s watchmaking works, Van Cleef & Arpels captures special moments that welcome infinite imagination and countless emotions along with lyrical moments toward life. The Poetic Complications collection is enriched with the addition of the newly introduced Lady Arpels Jour Nuit and Lady Jour Nuit watches.
Two new watch creations allow you to deeply experience the enchantment of heaven. The fascinating journey continues with the creation of the new Lady Arpels Brise d’Été watch, presented in the Maison’s garden. As you walk through the garden and through the enchanting forest, you can admire the Extraordinary Dials collection featuring the Lady Arpels Jour Enchanté and Lady Arpels Nuit Enchantée watches. .
Lastly, it is a fascinating time by presenting two original automaton works that continue the Maison’s tradition of noble objects, the Apparition des Baies Automaton and the Bouton d’Or Automaton. completed.
In particular, among the new products, the Lady Arpels Jour Nuit and Lady Jour Nuit watches from the Poetic Complications collection were developed over several years in a watchmaking workshop and were inspired by the night sky full of dazzling stars. In response, the Lady Arpels Jour Nuit watch, first introduced in 2008, was developed into two new models, 33mm and 38mm, in 2024 after a three-year development period.
In addition, the Lady Arpels Brise d’Été watch, reminiscent of a flower crown in full bloom in a garden, is made of white gold and yellow gold and displays the time with butterflies using the Flique-à-Jour enamel technique. The dial made of matte mother-of-pearl, leaves applied with champlevé enamel, and blades of grass applied with tsavorite garnet and 3D Flique-à-Jour enamel depict a rural landscape.
For specific motifs that required hundreds of hours of work, Van Cleef & Arpels teamed up with experts who put passion and time into their artistry, working with master watchmaking craftsmen to complete the work. The watch pieces combine the Maison’s signature techniques to exude sincerity and fascination. Van Cleef & Arpels goes beyond its long-standing tradition and exerts an outstanding presence in the development of innovative enameling techniques such as Passone enamel and enamel internal setting, creating decorations with unique liveliness.
