The movie “Walking in the Bright Sky” on VTV’s prime time is making the audience love and discuss it enthusiastically because of the attraction of the young, dynamic and good acting cast. In which, the male lead Chai is played by Long Vu – the son of artist Van Dung The character is loved by the audience.
Before, Artist Van Dung rarely interacts and shares about her son on social media. But recently, she has been happily interacting with the audience about her son after Long Vu became famous with the role of Chai.
In a recent television interview, Van Dung said that because she liked watching VTV’s Magic Hat program hosted by MC Long Vu, after giving birth, she gave her son this name.
“After knowing the story, MC Long Vu also texted me and asked: “Does Van Dung love me that she named her child Long Vu?”, the female artist humorously recounted.

Artist Van Dung also freely “badmouthed” her son on television: Long Vu was often late, and the homeroom teacher had lost points in the competition. Accordingly, the teacher at the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema – where Long Vu used to study – had to call Van Dung because it was time for the exam but she couldn’t find her student. Therefore, she often had to call her son to go to school.
“At home, Long Vu’s father plays the good role, but outside, I’m the one who plays the bad role, to the point that my son puts his mother’s phone number in the address book as “Come home now,” the female artist said.
Long Vu also said that every time Van Dung’s mother called him, the first sentence would be “Vu, where are you? Come home now” so he saved her name in his phone like that.
Van Dung’s son gave all his show fee to his mother.
Artist Van Dung shared that, right from the time he graduated, Long Vu was very eager and proactive in going to the casting (audition) for the film. Vu went to the casting himself, the female artist did not know about the film and did not influence it in any way.

“After graduating from university, Long Vu stayed home and waited for a casting call. He often asked why he wasn’t called to act in a movie. Was he so ugly that no one invited him to act in a movie, Mom?”
I just said: “Calm down, son. Artists like Cong Ly, Quang Thang, Truong Giang… are not handsome but still make movies because of their ability and charm,” artist Van Dung recounted.
Van Dung said that when she knew her son wanted to take the entrance exam to the Acting Department of the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema, she advised him that this profession is very hard and poor, and if he does not have real talent, it will be very difficult.
Second, you have to be really good, otherwise the profession will be eliminated very quickly, but her son is determined to follow the profession. Currently, she is also excited with each step of growing up with her son.
The female artist said: “Acting is a profession that even if you want to support it, if the audience doesn’t love it, it will be very difficult to survive. You have to have real ability to be able to do this job for a long time. If you are a “son of a boss” and don’t have talent, it will be very difficult to do this job.”

The female comedian recounted that Long Vu was a very emotional person who knew how to care for his mother. Wherever he went, he had the habit of buying his mother small things.
“When I got paid for performing, I gave it all to my mother. When I received my first salary, Long Vu gave my mother a gold necklace that touched me to the point of tears,” Van Dung said about her son.
In addition, Chai of Di giua troi ruc ro is a rather simple person, although he is the son of a famous artist, Van Dung’s son but not dressed up, not wearing trendy clothes.
The female artist confided: “Vu never asked his mother to buy anything. He didn’t know how to use branded goods. Many times, when I saw that he had very few clothes, I gave him money to buy them but he didn’t take them. He only had 2 pairs of pants and 2 pairs of shoes to change, he rode in any car he was given without asking for anything. Once, his sandals were torn, he even asked his grandmother to take them to the market to sew them up so he could continue wearing them.”
“Health Apple” also shared that if her son gets married in the future, she will not live with her daughter-in-law but live separately so that her son and his wife can be independent. Furthermore, due to the generation gap, she will not interfere in the way her son and his wife raise their grandchildren.

“I also hope my children will find a woman who loves them. I am not a difficult mother-in-law. If I love my daughter-in-law, my children will love me,” she confided.
Sharing with PV Dan Viet about the influence of his famous mother in his life and work, actor Long Vu said: “Mother Van Dung will be very strict when I make mistakes. But she is also very understanding and always encourages me when I am sad and feel difficult in life and work. At home, my mother is not funny, she is very meticulous, hard-working and always cares for everyone in the family, completely different from on TV.
I always feel lucky that my mother has given me a full life and always worries and takes care of me even when she is busy. My mother is an emotional person, no matter how hard life is, she endures it alone, never complains, so why should I be angry with her or feel sorry for her when I know she is struggling day and night to make a living for the family and for me.
Actually, after hearing my mother say that, at first I was quite worried. But I realized in my mind that this is what I really want first. Second, no matter how hard or difficult it is for me, it will never be as hard as my mother. As for “Plan B”, I think I will probably follow my mother’s business path.
I think that any profession must have ambitions and goals, and acting is no exception. But I have never forced myself to be as good or successful as my mother. My mother is my pride and motivation, not an image that puts pressure on me.”
