A Ford Explorer was fully consumed by flames on Troncal 10 near Upata adn GuasipatĂ in BolĂvar state, Venezuela, on Monday, December 15th. The incident,which occurred around 8 p.m. local time, prompted a response from local firefighters who successfully contained the blaze.
Vehicle Fire Reported in La Carata Sector
The fire took place in the La Carata sector of Trunk 10, a major roadway connecting Upata and Guasipati. The Operational Zone for Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis of the BolĂvar state (Zoedan) released information regarding the incident, confirming the total loss of the vehicle.
Fortunately, authorities report that no injuries were sustained as a result of the fire. Upon arrival at the scene, emergency services found the Ford Explorer already fully engulfed in flames. The vehicle’s owner has not yet been identified. The BolĂvar State Fire Department responded to the call and worked to extinguish the blaze, preventing it from spreading to nearby vegetation.
Cause of Combustion Remains Unknown
The cause of the fire remains under inquiry. A preliminary report indicates that the vehicle was already heavily damaged by fire when first responders arrived.
