Gwyneth Paltrow saw Paris for the first time with her father, a memory that is very close to her heart.
The Goop founder was devastated when her father died in 2002 after a long battle with throat cancer, and she has not forgotten his love for the French capital.
In a letter to his fans, the actor said: “Paris, for me, is always a good idea – whether on a week’s holiday or a short stopover between two destinations. I have very fond memories of the first time I saw Paris near him, at the age of 10, with my father.
The star says: “And with each visit, I find a little more magic in the city – whether it’s dropping by a flea market exhibition, a new exhibition at the Louis Vuitton Foundation, or the perfect ramen at Little Tokyo”.
Gwyneth then directed fans to her list of recommendations for trips to Paris, which included a litany of five-star hotels, expensive restaurants and a celebrity-favorite salon.
