A concert was held at the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev as part of the Yeni adlar (New Names) project, Day.Az reports.
Under the leadership of the artistic director and chief conductor, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Fuad Ibrahimov, performed by the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli and soloists – laureates of republican and international competitions Ali Mammadov (piano), Sharif Bagirov (clarinet), Kanan Mammadzade (violin) ” Concerto No. 2 for Clarinet and Orchestra (Es-dur, op.74) by Carl Maria Weber”, “Variations on an Original Theme (op. 15) by Henryk Wieniawski”, “Concerto No. 3 for Piano and Orchestra (C-dur, op. 26) Sergei Prokofiev.”
The “New Names” project serves the development of modern Azerbaijani performing arts, recognition of a new talented generation in this field, and the education of bright performers.
