A photo of Khushbu with Vijay and Rashmika in the film was released by the makers even before the release. Vijay also spoke about Khushbu at the audio launch of the film. It was reported that Khushbu played the role of Rashmika’s mother. Social media is discussing why a character who was said to be so important was absent from the film after its release. It is suggested that Khushbu’s parts were removed due to the length of the film. Currently the run time of the movie is 170 minutes. It is reported that several scenes shot were removed at the last minute due to the length. By the time the climax shoot of the film was over, Vijay had to be admitted to the hospital.
