Varushabhishekam in Singapore temple Dinamalar

The seventh annual Varushabhishekam at Singapore Marshalling Sri Shiva Krishna Temple was held on Saturday 18th March with much fanfare. The ceremony started with a special yaga pooja at eight o’clock in the morning. At nine o’clock a special abhishekam to Sridevi-Boodevi Sametha Sri Prasanna Venkatesap Perumal took place in an eye-catching spectacle and Purnaheedi continued.

At 9.45 p.m., the holy gadam was worshiped in the Yagasala and the Kalasaphishekam was performed with the chanting of the devotees “Om Namo Narayana…Om Namo Venkatesa…Om Namo Bhagavathe Vasudevaya…”. At exactly ten o’clock Maha Deeparathan was served and prasadam was served to the participating devotees.

In the evening, Sri Prasanna Venkatesap Perumal, as Sarva Anakaran Nayak, visited the temple as Sridevi-Budevi Samedara and blessed the temple. The arrangements for the festival were well done under the leadership of Suresh Kumar, Chairman of the Temple Management Committee.
