Ernest Erb took fifth place in the same exercise with a score of 283 in the slow fire. He started his short-term target shooting with three 50-point streaks, climbing up the leaderboard and finishing fifth.
On the other hand, on Sunday, Vasermanis won second place in rapid fire with a small-caliber pistol, scoring 568 points. Rihards Zorge was seventh with 564 points, while Erbs was eighth with 562 points.
In the mixed pairs competition, Anita Krieķe in a pair with Erba won the second place in shooting with a small-caliber pistol.
