“We have received confirmation from the government that part of the funds for such a project will be allocated from the Federal Reserve Bank. VEB will provide about RUB 85 billion for this project. In general, we still estimate the necessary funds for this project in the amount of 220 billion rubles, ”said Shuvalov.
According to him, VEB is launching 12 projects in large Russian cities, primarily to create opportunities for electric transport, including trams and buses.
Earlier it was reported that VEB is considering the possibility of financing transport infrastructure projects worth more than 2.5 trillion rubles.
