flowerPreparations for the spring festival have started in the garden city of Ooty. The fairs to welcome the spring influx of tourists will begin on May 6. Vasantotsavam will begin on May 6 and 7 with a vegetable fair at Kothagiri Nehru Park. Then, the 10th Perfume Fair will be held from 12th to 14th.
The 18th Panineerpoo Mela will be held at Ooty Panineerpoo Udyan from 13th to 15th. The fruit fair will be held at Coonoor Sims Park on 27th and 28th.
Pushpamela from 19th to 23rd May
The world famous Ooty Flower Fair will be held from 19th to 23rd May at the Botanical Garden. In an area of 55 acres, lakhs of plants will welcome the tourists. The 125th Flower Fair is being held this year. The organizers hope that around three lakh tourists will reach Ooty in five days.
