jpnn.comJAKARTA – PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded that 961,852 vehicles returned to the Jabotabek area via toll roads on H1 to H+3 of Eid 2024 or Wednesday-Sunday (10-14 April 2024).

“This figure is the cumulative figure for traffic flow from the four main toll gates (GT), namely Cikupa GT (from Merak direction), Ciawi GT (from Puncak direction), and Cikampek Utama GT (from Trans-Java direction) and Kalihurip Utama GT (from Bandung),” said Jasa Marga Marketing Communication Department Head Faiza Riani in Jakarta, Monday (15/4).

Jasa Marga revealed that the total volume of vehicles returning to the Jabotabek area increased by 41.03 percent compared to the normal 681,996 vehicles.

Meanwhile, compared to the Eid 2023 period, the total vehicle volume was 3.1 percent lower with a total of 992,223 units.

For the distribution of traffic returning to Jabotabek from three directions, namely with the majority of 520,043 vehicles (54.1 percent) from the east (Trans-Java and Bandung), 239,316 vehicles (24.9 percent) from the west (Merak), and 202,493 vehicles (21.1 percent) from the south (Puncak).

Meanwhile, traffic returning to Jabotabek from the Trans-Java direction via GT Cikampek Utama on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 294,305 vehicles, increased by 118.4 percent from normal conditions.

Then, traffic returned to Jabotabek from Bandung via the Kalihurip Utama GT on the Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 225,738 vehicles, an increase of 45.7 percent from normal days.

The total number of vehicles returning to Jabotabek from Trans-Java and Bandung via the two GTs was 520,043 vehicles, an increase of 79.5 percent from normal conditions.

Jasa Marga revealed that the total volume of vehicles returning to the Jabotabek area increased by 41.03 percent compared to the normal 681,996 vehicles.
