In the world of extreme cars, there is always someone who pushes the limits beyond what is imaginable, and Hennessey Performance is one of these pioneers. Founded in 1991 by John Hennessey in Sealy, near Houston, Texas, this car manufacturer is renowned for transforming American supercars and pickups into record-breaking racing machines. Today, Hennessey is no longer content to improve existing vehicles: it is also a full-fledged manufacturer with its hypercar, the Venom F5-M Roadsterdesigned to exceed 500 km/h.
Venom F5-M Roadster, only 12 units
The latest creation, the Venom F5-M Roadster precisely, it represents a further step forward: a manual gearbox version of the F5, destined to become the most powerful manual ever offered on the market.
It will be produced in only 12 copies, part of a larger lot of 30 Roadsters, and sold for approximately $2.65 million, equal to 2.4 million euros. The F5-M shares the engine with the standard F5: a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 1,842 hp and 1,618 Nm of torque at the rear wheels.
This two-seater boasts unique features, such as a new central aerodynamic fin that extends for 1.4 meters behind the cockpitand a contrasting colored stripe that runs the entire length of the car.
Inside, a redesigned central console stands out, equipped with an aluminum gear lever with carbon fiber knob and a selector grille also in machined aluminum. The connection between the gear lever and the box is mechanical, offering a direct and engaging driving experience.
Founder John Hennessey said: “We’ve always wanted to build a manual Venom F5 for customers who have asked for one. It’s old school, it’s tough, and it offers maximum driving engagement.“. This model follows in the footsteps of the GT Spyder, the car that in 2016 set the record for the fastest spider in the world with a speed of 427.4 km/h. Hennessey continues to push the boundaries, offering cars that combine brutal power e technical refinement iin an exclusive package for a select few.
