FRANKFURT, January 26, 2026 – The Hamburg Veolia Towers snatched a hard-fought 78-82 victory against the SKYLINERS in Frankfurt, fueled by a late surge and a standout performance from Devon Daniels, who led all scorers with 25 points. The win marks the Towers’ third consecutive victory and a testament to their growing resilience on the road.
Towers Overcome Slow Start to Claim Road Win
Hamburg battled back from an early deficit to secure a crucial victory in Frankfurt.

The Veolia Towers didn’t start strong, taking four minutes to register their first point. Former Tower William Christmas quickly put the SKYLINERS ahead, but a timeout called by head coach Benka Barloschky proved to be a turning point. The Towers reorganized, led by Daniels, and chipped away at the deficit, finishing the first quarter with a narrow 16-18 lead despite numerous turnovers.
Second Quarter Surge Sets the Tone
Osaro Rich ignited the second quarter with a three-pointer, sparking a 9-0 run that forced a Frankfurt timeout. hamburg dominated the boards,securing 22 rebounds and holding Frankfurt scoreless for four minutes,extending their lead to double digits at 16-26. The Towers entered halftime with a comfortable 28-35 advantage.

The second half saw Frankfurt attempt a comeback, capitalizing on some lose play from the Towers and winning the third quarter. however, Hamburg responded with renewed energy in the fourth, controlling the boards and making crucial plays down the stretch. “It was extremely hard work,” commented daniels after the game. “That’s why I’m happy that in the end we made exactly the plays we needed to win the game and consistently got the rebound.
