Vetrimaran and Seeman with film on Raja Raja Cholan and Velupillai Prabhakaran

Killed LTTE Nam Tamil party leader Seeman announced that the life of leader Velupilla Prabhakaran and Chola king Raja Raja Cholan will be made into a movie. Seaman made the announcement through his official Twitter page. The construction will be seaman. National Award winner Vetrimaran will be the director.

Seeman quoted Ambedkar’s words, ‘One day we will write our history, then the whole world will know our greatness’. In 2009, Velupillai Prabhakaran was shot dead by the Sri Lankan Army.

Radical pro-Tamil organizations have come out against the recently released Mani Ratnam film ‘Ponniyin Selva’, alleging that it misrepresented the history of the Cholas. Vetrimaran also criticized the film at an event. Vetrimaran mentioned that Mani Ratnam made attempts to show Rajaraja Cholan as a Hindu king.
