Via Saragat is colored with the Pulpa festival – Pescara

MONTESILVANO. A wall of over 300 meters that will be transformed into an open-air exhibition of 16 works of street art. And more music, street food, car displays, refrigerators to decorate with street art works and a skateboarding course for the little ones. These are the ingredients of the Pulpa Festival, the event dedicated to street art that will be staged on 8 and 9 May, from 10 to 22, along the new stretch of via Saragat (the one that leads from via Saffi to via D ‘ Azeglio). After the previews of the past few days, the event promoted by the Department of Youth Policies coordinated by Alessandro Pompei, in collaboration with AssoArt and Spazio010, was officially presented yesterday morning at the Town Hall. Although the event will come alive during the weekend, already since last Monday many artists have already been working to create their murals that will all have the theme of environmental sustainability as a leitmotif. The transformation of the reinforced concrete wall of the future via Saragat, of variable height between 2 and 7 meters, will be entrusted to the following artists: Alessandra Carloni, Andrew Tosh, Carlo Alberto Giardina, Isiderio, Luca Font, Mr Fijodor, Mr Thoms, Raul33 , Samuele Romano, Solo & Diamond, Spatt, The Spider, Urbankofa, Urka, Zot19. In recent days, moreover, a sixteenth name has been added to the lineup of writers who will work during the Festival, that of Giopeluso, winner of the contest “Art and urban regeneration”. There will also be collateral events such as the RedBull Canvas Cooler Project, partner of the festival, which will provide the artists with 6 drink coolers to decorate which will be exhibited in some rooms of the urban area.
