The Minister of Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti, signed the inter-ministerial decree that makes the Fondo Impresa Donna, which aims to strengthen investments in support of female entrepreneurship, as envisaged by the objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Resources from the Pnrr

According to what is reported in the note issued by the Mise, the objective of the measure is to encourage the participation of women in the business world, supporting their skills and creativity necessary to start up new entrepreneurial activities and the implementation of innovative projects, through non-repayable grants and subsidized loans. The Impresa Donna Fund was established with a initial loan of 40 million euros, to which they will be added the Pnrr resources, 400 million, intended for female entrepreneurs.

Mission Inclusion and cohesion

The project, explains the Mise, constitutes a pivotal intervention included among the lines of intervention of the Ministry of Economic Development in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan in the context of mission Inclusion and cohesion. With this measure, the ministry achieves another Pnrr objective within the time frame established by the time schedule, as has already happened for the Ipcei calls (Important Projects of Common European Interest) on highly technological strategic projects in the battery and semiconductor sectors, while the reform of industrial property started. The inter-ministerial decree was also signed by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Daniele Franco, and by the Minister for Equal Opportunities and the Family, Elena Bonetti. It will then be sent to the Court of Auditors for registration.
